With our different courses we provide each participant with special driver/non-driver skills that enables them to perform in hostile and non-hostile enviroments. We offer all kind of courses in the right kind of Armoured and non Armoured vehicles.

Instructors

All instructors working for Armoureddriving consists of Special Trained Police officers with many years of experience regarding VIP Security Driving in armoured cars and educating Police Special Forces in Security Driving and Military Special Forces in Armoured and non-armoured cars.

About us – Instructors

All instructors working for Armoureddriving have daily experience working with different security teams around the world, and have years of experience teaching diplomates and VIP drivers in security precautions regarding driving armoured vehicles.

The staff of instructors have taught driving armoured vehicles, as well as driven armoured vehicles in hostile and non-hostile environments around the world including Europe, Africa and the Middle East.

We provide courses all over the world, for Danish, English and- French-speaking international drivers.

The staff has several years of experience as VIP-drivers driving armoured vehicles, and as testdrivers for various car magazines, testing all sorts of car brands on public roads and on a closed track.

They also have several years of work experience as driving instructors with the Danish Police Special Department/Unit for VIP Drivers and Security Drivers, where they teach Police Officers from the Academy, Special Police Units, Close Protection Teams, Minister Drivers, and military personel in both theoretical and practical driver’s training.

The instructor staff have also taught at several different technical driving centres, and have extensive experience in developing courses specifically for the clients´ exact needs. They have also taught many different courses and special events.

We have worked with armoured vehicles for more than 24 years. We have taught diplomates, and Special Forces in the Military as well as the police in safety regarding driving armoured vehicles. We have taught armoured driving as well as driven armoured vehicles in the Middle East, Europe and Denmark, where specialists worldwide have been trained in how to react and drive an armoured vehicle in a hostile enviroment.

Courses

All courses are designed to fulfill the needs for every driver of an armoured or non-armoured Vehicle Worldwide. We eduacate each driver in known tactics and methods from the Aggressors, so that the driver can not just recognise an incoming threat, but also respond properly to attacks or hostility.

Armoured Basic Driver Training (SDTB)

Beginner’s Level of the Security Driver Training.

The Basic Course is all about giving the driver thorough knowledge regarding the security of an armoured veichle and the basic knowledge in how to manouvre a heavy 4 x 4.

The driver will among other things learn basic armoured vehicle characteristics, armouring and ballistics background information on different armoured vehicles, check point procedure and basic driving skills.

During the final phase of the course each student will have to negotiate a set course under test conditions.

Armoured Advanced Driver Training (SDTA)

Advanced Level of the Security Driver Training.

The advanced course gives the driver deeper knowledge in armoured vehicle characteristics, performance, handling and dynamics. The driver will master threat analysis, counter measures and reaction to any attack or threat.

The advanced course gives each driver very thorough knowledge in the characteristics of an armoured vehicle, and how it performs furthermore: its handling and dynamics. The driver will gain thorough knowledge about advanced vehicles dynamics and learn advanced vehicles control skills. Each exercise in the advanced course is more intense and demanding, and it requires more of each driver to complete each exercise.

After completing the course each driver will master how to analyse the road and the area surrounding the vehicle and always have counter measures and reaction in mind to prevent and deal with any incoming threat or attack.

Only for participants who have participated and have been certified at our Basic Course.

Armoured Defensive Driver Training (SDTD)

Advanced Defence Security Driver Training.

The driver is trained in how to react when he encounters any form of road blocks and the situation develops into any form of a threat or attack.

The driver is placed under different forms of stress and needs to react during an attack even though their way out is blocked. The student is trained to look ahead and encounter any potential threat.

During the final phase of the course each student will have to negotiate a set course under test conditions.

Armoured Tactical Driver Training (SDTT)

Advanced Tactical Driver Training.

The driver is trained in driving in accordance with specific guidelines put out by either leading bodyguard or leading ML (leading motorcycle). The driver is also taught responsibilities for themselves and other members in the protection team and learns to drive in a tactical way so that the VIP is best protected.

Other subjects on the course are blocking and maneuvering, one, two and three vehicles, security driving in the city and on the highway and dealing with traffic (day time and night time), communications for security drivers and close protection team (covert and overt) and vehicle formations.

Non armoured Advanced Security Driver Training (SDST)

Security Driver Training non armoured.

The course is specially designed for head drivers driving VIPs and therefore needs to know the possible hazards and how to avoid them before they happen. The driver learns to recognize a possible threat and learns counter observation and escape manoeuvres.

Passenger Driver Training (SPDT)

Advanced Passenger Training.

How is it possible to drive a vehicle seated beside the driver, or what if the driver is injured and can’t move away from the driver’s seat. These are just some of the things you are taught on this course that is targeted at passengers often seated beside the driver or leading bodyguards. For armoured and non-armoured vehicles.

Anti Hijack Training (AHT)

Advanced Anti Hijack Training.

The safety of our loved ones or the safety of a VIP is of the most importance, and our course is designed so the driver can recognize and avoid a potential situation of hazard. How are you supposed to react during a hijack, and what is the most common apporach for hijackers.
